| Year 5 a global village |
The week began with a KS2 Assembly for over 300 pupils with a guest speaker from the "Global Education Centre", Mick Bradley introduced the 8 Millennium Goals. Other year group teachers attended so they could in turn to introduce the MDG themes in their own classes.
Change the World in 8 steps (MDGs) was the focus for Year 3 classes while Y5 and Y6 classes used the Better by the year website in exploring climate chaos. The whole global week was a great success and this was reported back to school governors.
