Activities for Enrichment/Off-curriculum days
CGE can deliver MDG workshops as part of school enrichment days made up of some of the following:
- Goal 1: Poverty A card game looking at connections and the cycle of poverty
from Change the World in 8 Steps Oxfam pack on the MDGs (see resources)
- Goal 2: Education Explore why over 80 million children still can’t go to school - Lesson plan (pdf)
- Goal 3: Gender equality Can Jaya stay at school? Pupils act out a role play to decide whether Jaya must leave school - Lesson plan (pdf)
- Goal 8: Fair trade, debt and aid

Then play either of these class simulation games: the Trading game or the Chocolate Trade game (see resources)
